Fuel Proof On Television, BBC's Galapagos Series

Anyone watching the BBC's Galapagos series may have spotted a Fuel Proof aviation fuel tank refuelling a helicopter on board the research and exploration ship 'MV Alucia'.

The ship has a large helicopter deck and two submarines, both rated for a maximum depth of 1,000m.

Alucia has been involved in many research and exploration projects. In 2011, Alucia was involved in the search for Air France Flight 447. In 2014, it was used during the filming of Sir David Attenborough's Great Barrier Reef (broadcast 2015/2016) and Blue Planet II (broadcast 2017) BBC television series.
